Innovation
In addition to his practice, Carsten Roth is a professor at the Institute of Construction Design, Industrial and Health Care Building at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, one of the most important architectural schools in Germany. Roth was selected for this position in large part because of his success in combining design with progressive construction techniques. Carsten Roth is committed to using the resources available to him at the University, which include a staff to pursue his passion for design and technological innovation.

Prof. Carsten Roth
Born 1958 in Hamburg Carsten Roth studied architecture at the Technische Universität Braunschweig, at the Academy of Fine arts in Vienna and, with a Fulbright scholarship, at the Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg and Alexandria/USA. Since 1987 he has had his own studio in Hamburg. Roth is a member of the Freie Akademie der Künste in Hamburg.
